9:00 AM Fuddy Duddies. This group of retirees meets on the first Monday of every month at 9:00 AM at a local restaurant for a great breakfast and good conversation. Everyone is welcome. Contact Jan Lillibridge for more information.

10:30 AM Service. Visitors are always welcome. Rev. Jon Dobrer is on vacation. Our guest speaker will be Cynthia Robinson-Smith. Her sermon is titled: "Living With Mental Illness". Ms. Robinson-Smith is a featured speaker from NAMI (National Association of Mental Illness). She will talk about her own struggles with mental illness and how organizations like NAMI and her own church helped her.

12:00 PM Social Action Committee Meeting. This is an open group that meets on the second Sunday of every month. All are welcome to participate in this very important committee. Be involved in social action projects. Contribute your time and talent to make the world a better place. Contact Lou Arnwine or Debbie Langenbacher for more information.

1:00 PM Memorial for Georgia Thornton. This memorial for long time UUCF member, Georgia Thornton will be held in our sanctuary after our service. A reception will follow in the social hall. All are invited to attend.

7:00 PM Women's Movie Night. All women are welcome at this fun event. Meet at the home of Donnette Guiltinan to watch "Vicky Christina Barcelona" starring Rebecca Hall, Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz and directed by Woody Allen. Popcorn and candy will be served. A discussion will follow the movie.

Share the Plate. On the third Sunday of every month, UUCF shares half of the non-pledge contributions with a charity in the community. The charity is chosen by the Social Action Committee. The charity for this month will be announced soon.

10:30 AM Service. Visitors are always welcome. Our guest speaker today is Rev. Jon Turner, a Shin Buddhist minister. The title of his sermon is: "Approaching Buddhism as a Modern Convert". Rev. Turner will explain Buddhism within its own context rather than trying to appropriate it within a Western Protestant one. He will use personal examples to help illustrate general issues and concerns relevant to Buddhism. These will include the issue of awakening and the role of morals and ethics. Join us for this very interesting service.

7:00 PM Women's Wisdom Circle meets twice a month. This is an open group and all women are welcome. The topic for this discussion is: "Do you think the world will be a better or worse place 100 years from now?" Meet at the home of Anne Thorward.

10:30 AM Service. Our guest speaker today will be Dr. Woodrow W. Clark, a co-recipient (along with Al Gore) of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. The title of Dr. Clark's talk will be: "Climate Change-A Call to Action". As Unitarian Universalists, we feel a strong sense of social responsibility and are concerned about climate change but feel daunted by the size and complexity of its challenges. Dr. Clark's talk will clarity the kinds of practical and effective action we can support.

7:00 PM UUCF Meditation Group. This is an open group that meets once a month on the 4th Thursday of the month. Please contact Marlies Worley for more information. Please note that the meeting will be on the 5th Thursday for this month only.
