9:00 AM Fuddy Duddies. This group of retirees meets on the first Monday of every month at 9:00 AM at a local restaurant for a great breakfast and good conversation. Everyone is welcome. Contact Jan Lillibridge for more information.

7:00 PM Women's Wisdom Circle meets twice a month. This is an open group and all women are welcome. This week plan to meet at the home of Debbie Langenbacher. Topic: "What age are you internally?"

10:30 AM Service. Visitors are always welcome. Our guest speaker today will be Professor Pat Ganer. Dr. Ganer is Professor of Communications at Cypress College. The internet has clearly become a major force in both the American and global societies. However, we often fail to critically examine the impact of its usage. Whether the focus is on the access to information, opportunities for community development, potential trade-offs between social networking sites and face-to-face relationships, possible "addictive" behaviors, or generational differences, the internet-- like any technology-- offers both benefits and drawbacks. This talk will highlight some of the major consequences to the growth of the itnernet. Plan to join us for a very interesting service.

Share the Plate. On the third Sunday of every month, UUCF shares half of the non-pledge contributions with a charity in the community. The charity is chosen by the Social Action Committee. The charity for this month will be the Women's Transitional Living Center wih the money being used to purchase baby clothes and other supplies for infants residing at the center. Contact Debbie Langenbacher or Lesley Mahaffey for more information.

6:30 PM Dinner and a Movie Discussion with Rev. Jon Dobrer. This event is taking place on the third Tuesday for this month only. Next month it will move back to the it's normal time on the first Tuesday. The movie for this month is: "The Kids Are Alright". See the movie on your own and meet at Marlie Calendars on Yorba Linda Blvd in Placentia at 6:30 for dinner and a great discussion.
