Woodrow W. Clark II MA3, PhD, a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for his 12 years of work on the UN Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change, will discuss a major paradigm change occurring now in environmental and economic sustainability. What an opportunity
to hear a Nobel prize winning lecturer in North Orange County!!!!!!!
The Third Industrial Revolution (3IR) derived and outlined in Jeremy Rifkin's The European Dream (2006) explains how the European Union (EU) has moved from The Second Industrial Revolution of fossil fuels and mechanical engines and technologies into The Third Industrial Revolution of renewable energy, storage devices and smart grids. Dr. Clark further explains how some countries are starting
to "leap frog" into the 3IR and that the USA has been slow to embrace this paradigm shift.
Dr. Clark, is an internationally recognized author, lecturer and advisor specializing in sustainable communities. In 2004, he founded Clark Strategic Partners (CSP), an environmental and renewable energy consulting firm using his political-economic expertise in order to guide, advice and implement public and private clients worldwide - specifically on sustainable development projects for communities.
