Crop Walk A Big Success!! It brought in a total
of $55,092. $1,965 of that was raised by our congregation. We had 8

9 AM in the upstairs classroom . The topic is Why Phenomenalism is immoral from a Gnostic viewpoint,
by Ed Tschabrun. Followed by a meeting to discuss future topics of interest
for Adult R.E.
May 17: Unitarian Universalist Choral Festival.
The Fullerton UU Church Choir will be performing at this festival at the
Costa Mesa UU Church

May 25: The guest speaker will be Eleanor Ramrath
Garner (mother of our member Jim Garner) who will talk about her personal
memoir Eleanor's Story: An American Girl in Hitler's Germany,
which has won 9 major awards. The story includes the
bombings, evacuation, final battle for Berlin, and demonstrates the realization that even in the darkest times the
heart can still dance, and hope never really dies.
May 27: Potluck with
Rev. Jon Dobrer in the social hall at 5:30 PM
and/or Salon
Discussion at 6:30 PM. The topic will be: The way ahead for our Church
June 1 is the new date for the Religious Education
Tree Planting Ceremony at
Carbon Canyon Regional Park. There

Sept. 27: A Celebration of Rumi at the Hollywood Bowl. Tickets go on sale in
May. Experience Persian mystic poet Rumi through the music of
Iran and beyond, with the finest Persian musicians, special guest Yo-Yo Ma,
and whirling dervishes. We would like to get a group together to
