Choir
The UUCF has a small but mighty choir. Our members love to sing and contribute their talents to our Sunday services. We also perform at social occasions associated with our congregation. Our choir has weekly practices at the church on Thursday evenings at 7 PM, for those members able to attend, and on Sunday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. for those people unable to attend during the week. We would love to have more people join us. Reading music is a plus, but certainly not a must. For more information please contact Judi Herz.
The Fuddy Duddies
The Fuddy Duddies is a retirees' breakfast club that meets at 9:30 AM on the first Monday of each month at a different restaurant chosen by the members. It's the monthly celebration of the arrival of the Social Security checks! Non-elders are welcome too. Contact Jan Lillibridge for more information.
Bridge Group
The Bridge Group meets at 7 pm every month's third Friday. Contact Claude Coppel for information.
Women's Wisdom Circle
The Women's Wisdom Circle meets in participants' homes, usually on the first and third Monday of each month. It is open to all women who attend the church. A topic for discussion is chosen in advance and described in the Sunday Announcements. Within the structure of the meeting, we seek to create a safe and caring environment for a free exchange of ideas. In this way we hope to understand ourselves and each other better and grow in our daily lives. Contact Barbara Keller for more information.
The LTG Investment Club
The "Lead to Gold" club was formed in 1990 by a group in the UUCF church to pursue interest among members in learning about investing in stocks. We've maintained a small number of members and have been moderately successful with our investments. It's a great way to learn about stocks and to better provide for your retirement. The cost is $100 to join and $35/month dues. You'll learn by doing with the help of current members.
The club is a member of the National Association of Investment Clubs (NAIC) which gives us access to much helpful advice in the way of publications and regional meetings.
Guests are always welcome. For more information contact Gwen Fyke or Brad Woodhull.
The Red Hat Society
aka Fullerton Fluuzies, has monthly outings with ladies of a certain age who are dedicated to having fun and sporting their purple outfits and red hats. Notice the 2 u's in Fluuzies, showing our unique UU affiliation. Light hearted ladies welcome. Contact Fran Dobley for more information.
Lending Library Table
Visitors, Friends and Members are invited to stop at the Lending Library Table after Sunday services. We offer a collection of books and literature containing information relative to Unitarian Universalism, theology and philosopy. Check us out!!
Circle Suppers
These wonderful potluck meals are served in the homes of our members on the second Saturday night of the months of October, November, January, March, and May.

Circle Suppers are for adults only but Family Circle Suppers are held for those who wish to include the kids. Sign up and enjoy a good meal with intelligent conversation, and have a chance to make new friends in the process. For more information, contact Barbara Burns or Marcia Taylor.
Men's Lunch Group
The Men's Lunch Group meets at Carrow's in Fullerton at 11:45 AM on alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays (see the Calendar). Contact Brad Woodhull for more information.
Movie and Dinner with Rev. Jon Dobrer
This open group meets on the first Tuesday of every month. A matinee performance of a newly released film is viewed at a local theater. Then everyone meets for dinner and a discussion of the movie at Rutabegorz Restaurant in Fullerton. What a great way to keep up with the current movie scene. Contact Marlies Worley for more information.
All Souls Potluck and Salon Discussion
The All Souls Potluck begins at 5:30 with the Salon Discussion following at 6:30 and meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month, at the Temple. Bring a dish (no shellfish or pork please) and enjoy the potluck. Can't get there that early? No problem. All are welcome, even if just for the discussion part of the evening. The discussion is led, and topic chosen, by the Rev. Jon Dobrer. Contact Judy Sterling for more information.
Third Tuesday Discussion Group
Join your fellow UUs for a stimulating discussion led by our minister, Rev. Jon Dobrer. These discussions center on religious issues. This is an open group that meets every third Tuesday of the month, at the Temple in the downstairs chapel at 7 PM. Contact Jon Dobrer for more information.
Social Action Committee
The mission and purpose of the Social Action Committee is to provide members and friends of the UU Church in Fullerton an opportunity to directly apply Unitarian principles of charity in their everyday lives. This group supports a number of non-profit charitable organizations through contributions of money, work, food, goods, and time. These organizations include:
  • Fullerton Interfaith Emergency Services (FIES)
  • Women's Transistional Living Center
  • Circulo de Amigas (Circle of Friends) http://www.camigas.org
  • Rebuild Orange County
  • The Homeless Cold Weather Shelter Program
Those who attend the Unitarian Universalist Church in Fullerton are afforded an excellent opportunity to directly help those in need through their church membership and active participation in the Social Action Program. For more information, contact Bill Bryant.
  • Foreign Foods Friday

Foreign Foods Friday is a group of "Foodies" who enjoy eating out together once a month and trying out all kinds of interesting cuisines. They meet on the third Friday of each month at a different restaurant each time. This is an open group and all are welcome to attend.
