Eleanor Núñez is a Spanish American conductor, pianist, and educator based in Southern California. She had her international debut in August 2022 with the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Ciudad de Asunción in Asunción, Paraguay. Eleanor graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting and a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance. Her belief that music should be accessible to all shines through her creative repertoire programming, enthusiastic rehearsals, and inviting concert environment. Musically, Eleanor loves exploring “the classics” and pairing them with new, modern works. In addition to her work at UUCF, she's currently the Symphony Orchestra Director at Irvine Valley College, and Wind Ensemble and Concert Band Director at Colburn.

DIRECTOR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: Sarah Whittenberg

Sarah most recently served as UUCF board president and comes to the RE program with years of educational knowledge and experience as well as volunteer management. She is a Scoutmaster with Boy Scouts of America as well as a member of the Liberal Religious Educators Association. She has a BA in English and an MA in Counseling Psychology.

Amy joined the staff in August 2021, and comes to us via our host congregation, First Christian Church of Fullerton, where she has been a member since 1978. She recently retired from full-time work at Santiago Canyon College. Amy is a singer and artist in addition to her administrative skills. She lives in Fullerton with her husband, David. Together they have four grown children, seven grandkids, and a dog, Princess Leia.

MNISTER of MUSIC EMERITA: Judi Herz
Judi serves UUCF as Minister of Music Emerita. She is also Director of the Buena Park Community Chorus and sings with the Orange Master Chorale. As a staff member, Judi serves as director of Family Chimes and Golden Chimes at UUCF. She has two sons, David and Douglas Money, a grandson David Allen Cash Money and is married to UUCF member Al Danzig.
