UUCF Lucky Charm Service Auction 2015
Saturday, February 7, 2015, 5 - 9 pm
in the Social Hall.
Dinner and Silent Auction, 5-6:30 pm. Live Auction, 6:30-8:30 pm, followed by dessert and checkout. Childcare provided during the Live Auction. Early checkout available, if needed.
The Service Auction is our biggest annual fundraising event. UUCF members and local businesses donate goods and services that are sold to UUCF members and friends who attend the Auction. Profits from the Auction support church programs throughout the year.
If you can’t be with us on Auction night, you can still participate! Your donated items can help us raise money. Someone can bid for you on items and events that you wouldn’t want to miss!
What to donate:
Events: meal, game night, pool party, etc - simple or elaborate - for a large group or small. Members often collaborate to host events.
Services: handyman, gardening, child care, computer help, music recitals, transportation, tutoring, etc. Be creative!
Handcrafted items: jewelry, baked goods, artwork, craft items, etc - may be already made or to be completed at a later date.
Retail items: jewelry, small household items, collectibles or retail gift cards. Donated items should be new or in excellent condition. We ask that each retail item have a value of at least $20.
How to donate:
Donation information is submitted using an interactive form at our website, www.uufullerton.org. Click on the icon on the main page, fill in the information, and click “Submit”.
Please include a date for a donated event. You may suggest a minimum bid. The Auction team may adjust the minimum bid, as they see fit.
Soon, a member will contact you about the Auction. This person can help you with donation ideas and with submitting donation information.
When to donate:
The donation deadline is Sunday, January 25, 2015. Please submit your donation information early!
Please bring donated items to the Social Hall between 3 and 4:30 pm on Auction day.
Please do not bring items beforehand, nor bring them with you at 5 pm.
