Reducing Our Impact On The Earth
A UUCF Conservation Discussion Group
Steve Schuster moderates this discussion group, the purpose of which is to present and share ideas and needs on how to conserve (intelligently use) water, fossil fuel generated electricity, and landfill space. The emphasis will be on solutions that can be put into practice quickly and not too expensively. Meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM on Zoom.
For questions, see UUCF Directory for Steve’s e-mail.
There are no formal meetings for this woman-only social group. Instead, members inform each other through email of upcoming events of interest to all, with the purpose of broadening our horizons and enjoying each other’s company. The Yu-Yus also fund and choose recipients for membership in the Clara Barton Sisterhood of the UU Federation of Women. To be on the email list, email Doris DresslerClark with Yu-Yu in the subject line.
The Men's Group periodically gathers (usually for breakfast) to share their personal joys and challenges. Men of all ages are welcome for this time of fun, reflection, and friendship. Contact Gordon Lillibridge in the UUCF Directory.
These ladies ‘of a certain age’ are fun-loving and welcome newcomers. They meet for lunches, outings and holiday parties.
Contact Fran Dobley in the UUCF Directory.
For moms; those identifying as mom (grandmas, “mamas” of pets, caretakers of kids, etc.); and anyone who likes to hang out with moms talking about life with “kiddos”. Search FaceBook and request to join this group for conversation, fun get-togethers and outings.
