Camp de Benneville Pines
Annual UUCF Retreat in November

Has the constant drone of civilization and day to day life worn down your heart and spirit? Look no further than the isolated and peaceful mountain Camp de Benneville Pines! Nestled in a tall pine and oak forest of the San Bernardino Mountains, you will find  this refuge in the quiet mountain community of Angelus Oaks, along Highway 38, sitting at an elevation of 5,800 feet.

Camp de Benneville Pines is tranquil mountain retreat, a place where you can commune with nature and find the solitude of a mountain glen. It offers a place to contemplate and to explore your own spiritual path alone or with others, as you wish. It is a place to bask in the warmth of a welcoming community of peers.

Every mid-November, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Fullerton hosts our annual retreat at Camp de Benneville Pines. In this peaceful environment, we enjoy each other's company through singing, hiking, children's activities, workshops, relaxing, and building community spirit.

Volunteers Needed Year-Round

As a non-profit organization, there is plenty of need for volunteers to maintain Southern California's only UU owned camp, Camp de Benneville Pines. Here are a few ways you can help:

  • rake the grounds twice a year to help us comply with the Fire Regulations insuring there is defensible space around the cabins

  • help with our numerous construction projects such as replacing decks

  • help with making the cabins more comfortable

  • help remotely with writing policies, marketing, finance, the annual assembly, governance, or stewardship

  • help ask for unrestricted donations monthly, annually, and written into your Will and Trust

  • direct donations: visit the Camp de Benneville Pines website at https://uucamp.org/one-time-gift/ or click the button below to take you directly to their donation page.

There is a place for you to help, and we can often create a new way for you to help keep Camp de Benneville Pines running smoothly.

By continuing to help sustain the ability of this Unitarian Universalist campus, Camp de Benneville Pines provide a retreat to spend quality time together for days on end recharge your sense of peace and strengthen your sense of belonging.
