The Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Fullerton is an inclusive and welcoming spiritual community for all ages, dedicated to living our shared principles through active service. Our congregation began here in Fullerton on July 12, 1967, and maintains a strong membership of people from many different faiths, or even no formal faith, such as atheists, humanists, and agnostics. Rather than sharing a religion or creed, our common bond is our set of values and principles, all centering around love.
Our name comes from the centuries-old traditions of two liberal spiritual movements, Unitarianism and Universalism, that merged in 1961. Since then, Unitarian Universalism has nurtured its heritages of freedom, reason, hope, and courage, building on the foundation of love, to provide a strong voice for social justice and liberal religion. At UUCF, we continue to take radical social action in line with our values of pluralism, interdependence, justice, equity, generosity, and transformation.
Sometimes a radical action can be as simple as choosing joy, practicing self-love, or reclaiming your story, and we make space to nurture these revolutionary acts within the UUCF community. Other times, we lift up our wider community and world community together, through rapid response, mutual aid, showing up to amplify voices, and disrupting systemic racism and oppression to build a better world.
At UUCF, we are people of many generations, races, genders, sexual orientations, spiritual backgrounds, and abilities, who are engaged in making the world a better place. Who Are Unitarian Universalists?

We are Unitarian Universalist and Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Humanist, Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, atheist and agnostic, believers in God, and more.

​​We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good. We have a track record of standing on the side of love, justice, and peace.
