Pathway to
Membership

Becoming a Member of UUCF
At the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Fullerton (UUCF), becoming a
member is a meaningful way to deepen your relationship with our beloved community.
Membership reflects your commitment to walk with us in shared purpose, spiritual
growth, and mutual support.
For many of us, choosing to become a member has meant offering our time, talent, and
financial support—each according to our capacity. In return, we’ve found deeper
connections, opportunities for growth, and fulfillment in contributing to something larger
than ourselves.
We welcome all who participate in our community—you do not need to be a member
to belong here. But when you feel ready to take the next step, we invite you to consider
making a formal commitment to UUCF through membership.

The Path to Membership
Membership at UUCF is rooted in relationship and reflection. Here's how to become a member:
1. Attend Services and Engage with Our Community
Spending time in worship and fellowship helps you experience who we are
and how we live our values together.
2. Participate in a “New to UU” Class or Meet with Our Minister
These conversations explore Unitarian Universalism, our congregation’s
mission, and what membership means. Classes are offered periodically and
are also a great way to meet others on the journey.
3. Make a Pledge of Support—Your Way
Members are invited to make an annual pledge of time, talent, and treasure.
There is no minimum amount and no judgment, just an honest reflection of
how you wish to support the life and work of the congregation.
4. Sign the Membership Book
After attending services and participating in a class or meeting, you’ll be
invited to sign our Membership Book—a simple, meaningful ritual that marks
your official welcome into the UUCF community.
