A few UUCF members had a "Taste of" the small group called "Soul Matters." Here are some of their responses.

With Small Group season coming up, all UUCF members were invited to attended a sneak peak of the group called "Soul Matters." This is a Circle Group focused on individual spiritual introspection, intentional silence, sharing, deep listening, and inner reflection.

Some of the participants shared their response after the group session:

"I enjoyed that the small group was sharing their feelings and that they were respected."

“I found the Soul Matters workshop to be cathartic.”

"I reached out to others and learning to trust on a personal level. I am stretching to the thought that this will be possible to complete."

“I really enjoyed the taste of soul experience  and look forward to joining the group.  Such a unique way of learning how you feel on a deep level”

“It's hard to explain but after experiencing 'A Taste of' Soul Matters, I felt a remarkable lightness, a sense of letting go of that heavy feeling that the 'weight of the world is on my shoulders.' This 'high,' this JOY of honest, deep 'sharing' and true listening' created a real, authentic bond amongst us participants that I think we all want to continue.”

UUCF acknowledges that this land is situated in the original ancestral homelands of the Acjachemen, Kizh, and Tongva peoples. May we have the humility and courage to help restore what has been broken, and the wisdom to live into a new solidarity with Indigenous communities and the earth.
